Special Projects

I have had the great pleasure of partnering with teams from across campus to create memorable for our students. Getting to resource and implement virtual tours for housing and residential life, host events in partnership with the Office of the President, and managing important programs such as Bobcat Day and New Student Orientation.

2025: ​

  • Hilltop II Ground Breaking Ceremony

    • Collaborated with the Office of the President in organizing a ground breaking for Hilltop II. 

  • Richard A. Castro Hall - Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

    • Collaborated with the Office of the President in organizing a ribbon cutting ceremony for Richard A. Castro Hall by organizing tours, serving as a liaison for Housing Facilities Services and Presidential Events team, managing spaces for the luncheon, creating marketing materials including directional signs and rolling photo presentations.​

  • Richard A. Castro Hall Faculty and Staff Welcome

    • Coordinated a large scale event welcoming all staff and faculty to Richard A. Castro Hall to learn about our newest residence hall on-campus. This including coordinating The Salty as a vendor, creating communications, creating tours tours and training full-time staff and Housing Ambassadors, and creating marketing materials including A-frame signs and flyers. ​

2024: 

  • Alamito & Cibolo Halls - Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

    • Collaborated with the Office of the President in organizing a ribbon cutting ceremony for Alamito & Cibolo Halls by organizing tours, serving as a liaison for Housing Facilities Services and Presidential Events team,  working with Chartwells Catering services on set up and tear down of ice cream stations.

  • Alamito & Cibolo Halls - Faculty and Staff Welcome

    • Coordinated a large scale event welcoming all staff and faculty to Alamito & Cibolo Halls to view the opening of a new residence hall. This including coordinating The Salty as a vendor, creating communications, creating tours tours and training full-time staff and Housing Ambassadors, and creating marketing materials including A-frame signs and flyers. ​

  • Housing and Residential Life Virtual Tours

    • Researched options for virtual tours and collaborated with DSS IT Services to find a vendor to support online virtual tours. The biggest request we get in housing is to view each space, with the growing number of students living on-campus, we are unable to provide a showroom in each hall. Virtual tours allow a virtual way to step into the spaces and have our Housing Ambassadors share the experience of living on-campus

  • Housing and Residential Lobby Renovation

    • With the guidance of our Executive Director and Director for Facilities Services, we created a space in the Housing and Residential Life office where we could showcase our different floor plans, virtual tours, and neighborhoods to help educate our guests on the housing and residential life process in an engaging way.
