Search Profiles
Position search profiles have given a visual identity and story telling ability to the roles posted in our division. Being able to connect candidates with information about leadership, the campus, and the position have allowed us to expand our reach and create recruiting opportunites.
Clear, direct, and proactive communication is vital in Housing and Residential Life. From emergency weather communications, to boil water notices, construction notifications, elevator repairs, water outages, and anything else you can think of, we've handled it all. View some examples of our communications sent to residents sent via Starrez software.

Social Media
It is important to meet students in spaces they naturally gravitate to, such as social media. Within the past few years, we have reached several milestones on social media: 1.1 million views on a reel, over 60k likes on a post, and 11k followers on Instagram! Take a look at some of our most favorite posts in the past year.
Move-In Communications Plan
Reaching a wide variety of audiences during the move-in time is vital. As subcommittee chair for move-in communications, I created a strategic overview of communications beginning with planning in March and continuing through Move-In.

This communications calendar echoes the departmental operations calendar which creates a clear visual understanding for our entire move-in team. When planning for move-in it was vital to keep high impact dates and times for our team on the calendar to ensure that our communications were complimenting and not in conflict with other operations. This calendar was finalized by April and continued to evolve with the needs of the team and feedback we received from campus partners such as the addition of a second volunteer training, additional communications to international students, and scheduling for vendors such as Vivid Media to complete updated virtual tours of our new residence hall.

Social media planning on Monday.com further complimented the communications being sent to residents via other platforms. During New Student Orientation, we encouraged students and their families to follow us on social media for real time updates on things happening during move-in and for important dates and communications.
